Course overview
If you’ve set your sights on a career in management, studying Business Management provides an excellent starting point, offering the opportunity to develop your practical skills and build links with the business community.
Develop managerial skills and perspectives, whilst gaining valuable experience in management situations. Take the chance to study abroad and/or learn a language, without extending the length of your degree, or gain practical experience with a year in industry. On successful completion of the programme, students will obtain the CMI Level 5 Diploma in Management and Leadership.
Gain a general grounding in Business Management in Year 1, then study specialist management topics in Years 2 and 3. A key aspect of the programme is the development of managerial skills to enhance employability. Alongside classes undertake a Continuing Professional Development framework, which will develop your practical skills and help you to build links with the business community.
Our students have taken part in business competitions, both in the UK and Europe, undertaken roles as student researchers and visited several organizations in and around the UK as part of their studies. You will be expected to undertake 140 hours of work placement during your course.
