Our Master of Public Health is one of the most innovative public health programs in the United States. The mission of the University of New Haven’s Master of Public Health (MPH) program is to prepare healthcare professionals who prevent disease, promote health, and protect the well-being of the public through education, practice, research, and service. Through our program, you will gain the leadership skills, innovative mindset, and background in evidence-based decision-making that are required to excel in the field of public health. You will also curate the professional, social, ethical, and political understanding of health you need to succeed from in- and out-of-the-classroom experiences. As a student you will learn public health by doing public health.

Over the past 15 years, under the leadership of President Steven H. Full-time undergraduate enrollment has more than doubled, and first-year applications have nearly tripled. In the last decade, the University has completed more than $300 million in major capital projects while launching 26 new academic programs. The University has also added campuses in Prato, Italy, and Orange, Conn.
