The UCR Professional MBA program is for professionals who want to build their professional skill sets without interrupting their careers. With a highly flexible curriculum, you can tailor the program to your professional aspirations.

The Professional MBA mirrors the flagship MBA with the same curriculum and the same world-class faculty. You will learn from distinguished scholars and practitioners who have unmatched academic credentials and pursue new applied research projects. The Professional MBA can be completed in as little as 21 months on a full-time basis or over the course of several years as you drive your career forward.

The Professional MBA is a STEM-designated degree program (science, technology, engineering, and math). International students in a STEM-designated program are able to apply for 36 months of Optional Practical Training (OPT) to work in the United States in their field of study after graduation. All international students must take a minimum of 12 units per quarter to remain in compliance with visa requirements, and therefore, cannot take the program on a part-time basis.

Our History

Founded in 1970 as the Graduate School of Administration, the UCR School of Business has grown to be the premier research and professional management school in the region. A transformational gift from the Anderson Family Foundation in 1995 gave the graduate school its namesake and propelled the campus to new heights of recognition on the national and international stage.
