Program Overview

The Master of Science (MS) in Accounting at Texas A&M University-Central Texas builds on the technical foundation from the BBA in Accounting. It provides students with an advanced course of study to satisfy the requirements to sit for the CPA Exam and succeed in rewarding accounting careers.

Accreditation

The Accounting program is currently accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP). The College of Business Administration is also presently pursuing accreditation with the prestigious Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). Our initial Self Evaluation Report (iSER) was accepted in April of 2019, thus the program is well on its way to being an AACSB accredited in a few years.
