Interested in taking a range of classes—perhaps forensics, biochemistry, Spanish, and art, before officially declaring a major? Or, would you like to design a major of your own? The General Studies major is the perfect fit for students with broad interests and a love of learning.
The General Studies degree provides students the ability to explore a broad range of courses to develop new skills or investigate a personal interest. Students may decide to design a major of their own, subject to consultation with an advisor and the approval of a faculty committee. Students may also wish to pursue a concentration, which is optional and provides students the opportunity to develop in-depth knowledge in a secondary field.
We offer part-time, evening, weekend, and online courses to fit our students’ busy schedules.
