The Bachelor of fine arts program in dance is for students seeking careers as professional dance artists who wish to pursue their goals within a major research university's artistic and intellectual climate. Students applying to the Bachelor of fine arts in dance must apply to the Mason Gross School of the Arts and participate in an audition.

Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, comprises a vibrant community of nearly 1,200 makers—dancers, filmmakers, musicians, theatre artists, visual artists, and designers unafraid to get their hands dirty as they collaborate with our renowned faculty of professional working artists.
