If you have a passion for exercise, a keen interest in sports performance, fitness testing, and human movement, Kinesiology may be the program for you. Study a wide variety of courses from anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, and nutrition to the history and sociology of sport and the art of coaching.

GPRC students may complete two years, studying aspects of physical activity, exercise, fitness, health, and sport, working towards the Bachelor of Kinesiology at the University of Alberta.

Grande Prairie Regional College, known as GPRC, was established in 1966 in Grande Prairie, Alberta, and includes campuses in Grande Prairie, as well as in Fairview, Alberta. GPRC offers something for everyone with a variety of educational options including university transfer; diploma and certificate programs; apprenticeship and pre-employment trades training; and adult high school equivalency completion. Our credit programs include the areas of Liberal Arts, Science, Education, Physical Education, Nursing, Human Services, Fine Arts, Business, Technology, Academic Upgrading, Trades and Technical training, Agriculture and Environmental Sciences. The College also offers baccalaureate degrees and master's degrees in collaboration with universities.
