We know you have places to go, and the B.S. in Human Biology at Cleveland University-Kansas City (CUKC) can help get you there. The degree can help students achieve a variety of objectives.

Coursework for the bachelor’s degree can be used to earn prerequisite health science and general education courses for those seeking admission to a variety of health professions programs, including chiropractic, osteopathic, medical and medical technology, dental and dental hygiene, optometry, physical therapy and others.

Students enrolled in the CUKC Doctor of Chiropractic degree program have an additional benefit. Some states require chiropractors to also hold a regionally accredited bachelor’s degree as part of their pre-licensure process. To help in that effort, CUKC students are able to pursue the B.S. in Human Biology and Doctor of Chiropractic degrees independently or concurrently.

For those pursuing bachelor’s or associate degrees, we offer prerequisite sciences courses in accelerated, eight-week intervals, on campus and online. Some graduates go directly into careers in laboratories or in the field. Many go on to pursue more advanced degrees in biology on their way to careers in forensics, research or traditional healthcare.

Our Master of Science in Health Education and Promotion and our Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science allows graduates to take advantage of a growing job market in workplace wellness implementation. Other career opportunities await in risk management, human resources, and occupational health and safety.
