Becker’s AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technology program provides students with a broad view of veterinary medicine. It offers the flexibility to enter the workforce in a variety of different animal-related careers. The first two years allow students to complete an Associate of Science degree in Veterinary Technology and then, during the junior and senior year complete the Bachelor of Science program where the emphasis is placed on building a solid base of knowledge and advanced nursing skills related to nutrition, animal husbandry, zoonotic diseases, and preventive medicine in companion and non-companion animals.

Becker College is one of the 25 oldest institutions in the U.S., tracing its history from the union of two Massachusetts educational institutions—one founded in 1784 with a charter signed by American Revolutionaries John Hancock and Samuel Adams, and the other in 1887. Today the College’s nearly 1,700 students live and learn on the College’s two distinctively New England campuses, located six miles apart, in the heart of Massachusetts.
