Would you like to learn how, as a school leader, you can further develop your educational organization in an entrepreneurial way? Follow the Master Management in Education (MLO). From a long-term vision you ensure a financially sound basis and quality of your school.

Educational organizations are increasingly confronted with dynamic external expectations. Directors and administrators must increasingly look outward in order to achieve good education together with the environment. They constantly adapt to new laws and regulations and 'compete' with other organizations through mergers and partnerships. Directors and administrators must be more than ever concerned with political influences, cooperation, positioning, shrinkage and growth, innovation and exploitation. They are expected to act as a businesslike, entrepreneurial and outward-looking leader and to be able to develop a learning organization and initiate innovations. The Master in Leadership in Education aims to professionalise directors and administrators in the field of business management, entrepreneurship and innovation management, HR and organizational development.

Hogeschool iPabo is a mono-graduate university of applied sciences with two locations, Amsterdam and Alkmaar. The university college provides training, refresher courses and research in the field of teachers and managers in primary education.

The Amsterdam office is located in the middle of a multicultural neighborhood. That gives a focus to our thoughts and actions; We link up with the specific (learning) needs and the experience of students from very diverse cultural backgrounds, we develop joint bonding and promote active citizenship and social integration. The Alkmaar office focuses in particular on education in the province. There is a great demand for a contemporary integrated child care facility, and smart solutions must be sought where population is shrinking. Primary school appears to be the beating heart of liveable villages. Really integral thinking with the child as a starting point is central to this.
