The Master in Fine Cuisine Management at the Barcelona Culinary HUB offers extensive training in leadership and skills to transform the culinary industry through a deep knowledge of current gastronomic trends and haute cuisine. The program provides students with the knowledge and tools necessary to develop and manage high-level restaurants, promote their own personal brand, create unique gastronomic experiences, understand the gastronomic market and its changes, as well as use technology and sustainability.

A program directed by Joel Castanyé, revelation chef of the Catalan Academy of Gastronomy and Nutrition, Chef and owner of La Boscana (Restaurant awarded with one Michelin star and two Repsol suns).

The Master is developed under an international and multidisciplinary approach, where gastronomy is not only understood as the dish and with it the transformation of agri-food products, but, on the contrary, requires a comprehensive vision of both the gastronomic and business sectors.

Objectives of the Master in Fine Cuisine Management

General Objectives Master of Haute Cuisine

The main objective is to train professionals capable of leading, creating and proposing new culinary options, with new cooking and handling techniques; as well as capable of managing and designing sustainable and profitable culinary spaces and/or projects with sensitivity to culinary traditions, and in general, the food identity of the regions.

Specific Objectives Master of Haute Cuisine

This Master will allow you:

  • Knowing the agri-food and gastronomy sector: building a strong knowledge base of the food and agricultural sectors from an international perspective and always from the managerial approach.
  • Global vision: train management-oriented professionals, innovative companies in the gastronomic field capable of obtaining the expected results at a global level.
  • and sustainable management: develop the capacity for creativity in businesses linked to gastronomy and its sustainable management through comprehensive and specialized training, qualifying participants to assume positions of responsibility in the sector.
  • Leadership training: develop the necessary skills of a global manager of companies and projects linked to gastronomy to achieve a collaborative, assertive and participative work.
  • Design, plan and manage business projects in the gastronomy and catering sectors.
  • Ensure a multidisciplinary and transdisciplinary approach to gastronomy.
  • Encourage the development of creative and innovative thinking about the value of agri-food products and their transformation.
  • Promote the combination of business vision and organizational skills in entrepreneurial initiatives in the fields of gastronomy.
