You'll receive personalized attention from dedicated professors and build a portfolio packed with comprehensive campaigns containing cross-media examples. Choose from either a BFA or a BA degree in Digital Design and Media Art. Students choosing the BA option will choose a cognate minor in art, business administration, communication studies, computer science, English, entrepreneurship, marketing, theatre arts/acting and directing or theatre arts/theatre design and technology. The BFA option requires the art minor, showcasing a dedication to your craft through a breadth of design work and depth of art knowledge.

As a Wilkes University communications studies major, you will choose from one of four concentrations: media production, multimedia journalism, rhetorical studies or strategic communication. Your course of study will feature core communications requirements as well as classes specific to your chosen concentration. The knowledge you develop in the classroom coupled with the hands-on learning you experience through the department’s wide range of co-curricular and extracurricular activities.
