UNC prepares nurses to impact and provide them with the skills and experience they need to earn a nursing license and excel in the profession. In our Bachelor of Science in Nursing program, you’ll learn from exceptional faculty and gain approximately 1,000 hours of clinical training, becoming part of a tight-knit community of teachers, students, practitioners, and mentors.

Our nursing degree program graduates earn outstanding scores on the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX), with first-time pass rates ranging between 95 and 100 percent. The program offers you an extensive range of clinical experiences, culminating in a 225-hour practicum that’s tailored to your academic interests and career goals. You’ll get comfortable with current technology and professional standards, entering the workforce with confidence and knowledge to make a difference from day one.

The College of Natural and Health Sciences offers bachelor's, master's, and doctoral programs in the natural, health, human and mathematical sciences.
