The Master's Degree in Occupational Risk Prevention of the Polytechnic University of Valencia comes to cover the needs of university higher education in the field of occupational risk prevention. With this, we want to respond to the requirements established by the Occupational Risk Prevention Law, which was a turning point in the legal and regulatory provisions on occupational health and safety, and affected all companies in all productive sectors. . On the other hand, said law defined a professional area until then practically non-existent in Spain, in whose higher education the university had not assumed the leading role that it deserved. With this new Master's Degree, postgraduate studies are configured within the framework of the new European area of higher education from a multidisciplinary approach, but with a clear technical vocation.
