The art of communication is the understanding and sharing ideas through a multitude of media platforms and formats. The Department of Communication within the College of Arts & Media at Southeastern University teaches students to communicate effectively in a media landscape experiencing rapid convergence.

Today’s communication professionals are expected to write, analyze, film, broadcast, publicize, and present information and ideas in innovative ways to reach their defined audiences. To this end, all of the programs within the Department of Communication work together to provide an excellent educational experience for each of our students, ensuring their ability to compete in a rapidly changing job market.
