The nursing program builds on the foundation of a liberal arts baccalaureate education and Christian/Catholic values and ethics. The Department of Nursing views nursing as a profession that utilizes both art and science in the provision of patient-centered care that is creative, goal-directed, and evidence-based. The primary commitment of the nurse is to the health and well-being of the patient and society.
