Solving Problems That Matter
The Robinson College of Business is a community of students, educators, and professionals who specialize in discovering insights that drive smarter business decisions.
With a rich history in the city, the Robinson College is located in the center of Atlanta, is a leader with local and global business partners, and supports an alumni network of over 60 000 people that reaches far and wide — from small businesses to global companies. We have strong connections around the globe — and we make sure our students do, too.
Our programs were built to push students beyond the classroom and offer experiences that bridge the gap between business education and the business world. Our internationally recognized faculty are not only experts in their fields but also prolific authors, distinguished researchers, and award-winning leaders.
Robinson Students Stand Out
You’ll find our students serving as consultants for local businesses and providing business plans, market research, and product evaluations. They work side-by-side with business partners to solve real big data problems and offer sound solutions. Our students travel the world learning about businesses that operate globally. They compete for top rankings in case of competitions, hackathons, and entrepreneurship challenges. Our graduates are landing top positions, earning raises and making a name for themselves and Robinson College.

The semiannual Financial Leadership Symposium is comprised of panels of C-suite executives, entrepreneurs, and finance professionals who expose students to best business practices, emerging trends, and the future of business. Following the panel discussion, students interact with our guests in a networking reception.

Advancing Vision 2020
Advancing Vision 2020 is Robinson’s 5-year strategic plan that calls for investments in faculty hires, increasing the number of immersive and experiential learning opportunities for students, building deeper collaborations between the college and corporate partners, upgraded facilities and technology, with funding to come from existing resources and new revenues. The plan was approved at the 2015 Robinson Fall Faculty Meeting on November 18, 2015.
Vision
No one gets closer to business than Robinson.
In the heart of Atlanta, surrounded by Fortune 500 companies and entrepreneurial start-ups alike, the Robinson College of Business fosters deep and lasting business relationships that cut across our research, teaching, and service missions to facilitate our development of the next generation of leaders. We grow future talent through degree programs while continually connecting students to business and society, and we support current leaders through executive education as well as collaborative relationships and sponsored research. This allows us to be closer to business, to better understand market challenges, and to more effectively co-develop and implement solutions with the business.
Three goals are necessary to achieve this vision by 2020:
Empower Students to Seize the Opportunities of the Technological Revolution
Foster the Research Environment Necessary to Produce Insightful Business Leaders
Lead a Purposeful Community
Mission
Ensure a diverse student body emerges prepared to deliver value in business, government, and non-profit organizations.
We accomplish this by engaging scholars and practitioners who increase our understanding of how individuals, organizations, and markets most effectively enhance social well-being. We share this knowledge with our peers and current and future business leaders to maximize its potential to affect individuals, families, communities, and global society.
Core Values
Four values define us and guide our outcomes.
