The first level University Master in Tourism Economics and Management was born in 1993, with the aim of offering high-level managerial training in the tourism sector. Continuously innovating, it proposes itself as a training course of excellence and one of the currently most popular Masters in tourism in the sector.

The course, held at the Ca 'Foscari Campus in Treviso, is divided into lectures and training activities such as group work, case studies, live projects (learning projects in which students act as consultants in projects of real clients ).

Innovation, digital and the very strong contact with the business world of the sector are the main pillars at the foundation of the Master in Economics and Tourism Management. The students who attend it work professionally in the field of hospitality, intermediation, events, cultural and territorial promotion, consultancy and transport.

The recent forecasts of the UNWTO - World Tourism Organization - estimate a recovery of tourism which in 2024 will even return to the pre-covid record levels of 2019. All the authoritative sources also indicate that post-pandemic tourism will be different, requiring innovation , new approaches, professional skills up to the new needs. Students in class 2022/23 will be able to show up prepared for the appointment, ready to start a career path in a renewed and buzzing working context.

Il Centro Internazionale di Studi sull’Economia Turistica nasce nel 1991 dall’unione di Università Ca’ Foscari Venezia, Regione del Veneto e Touring Club Italiano intorno ad un progetto innovativo.

La forte sinergia tra l’attività di ricerca e consulenza - condotta in esclusiva o in collaborazione con partner nazionali e internazionali - e l’attività di formazione universitaria e manageriale, permette al Centro di fornire all’industria turistica, alle amministrazioni locali e ai futuri operatori turistici gli strumenti per affrontare in maniera innovativa e performante il mercato.
