Design de Interiores

Our Interior Design Program focuses on improving quality of life and protecting human health and safety through the design of interior environments.

As an interior design student, you will learn to identify and solve problems related to humans and their use of interior space. With a focus on sustainable, human-centered design solutions and learning experiences, the Interior Design Program will prepare you to become a leader for the next generation of interior designers. Students studying interior design find careers as interior designers, project managers, lighting designers, and more.

Located in the vibrant Twin Cities design community, and as part of one of the largest research universities in the U.S., the College of Design encompasses a full range of design disciplines. With eight undergraduate degrees, 24 graduate degree options, and nine research, creative scholarship, and engagement centers, we value a hands-on, interdisciplinary learning experience.

Through a unique commitment to creativity and advancing technologies, our mission is to lead, innovate, and educate in a full range of design fields. We research ongoing and emerging issues, explore new knowledge, and address and solve real-world problems—all while adhering to socially responsible, sustainable principles and collaborative design thinking.
