Media Studies explores the media in national and international contexts and prepares you to enter the global employment market and to have a significant influence on it. This degree course offers you the opportunity to explore many different aspects of the media in a department that has a thriving and internationally recognized research culture. The course includes both theoretical and practical modules. The theoretical study addresses a range of media institutions, practices, users and audiences, and examines issues such as the construction of visual and textual language and the relationship between media and power.
