Salisbury University offers a professional program leading to a Master of Science in Athletic Training (M.S.A.T), which prepares students for a career as an athletic trainer. Athletic training is a health care profession that involves the prevention, diagnosis, and management of active individuals who sustain traumatic or lingering injuries or develop an acute illness or other medical conditions that impair a person’s normal function.
