Translate your ideas into impactful art that inspires and influences in NSU’s Art-Graphic Design program, where you’ll learn advanced visual design skills and master modern digital media and tools. With this degree, you’ll be ready to enter the professional design field or attend graduate school.

Enhancing your hands-on learning and creating experience are iMacs, interactive painting monitors, video cameras and sound and digital equipment.

Crowning this comprehensive program is a senior capstone experience, for which graphic design students complete a written thesis, solo exhibition of artwork, statement of purpose, and resume.

In addition to rigorous field-specific academic programs, all students complete a liberal arts and sciences curriculum that prepares students with 21st-century critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills that are equally valued in advanced professional and graduate studies as well as the workforce. Northern also offers a comprehensive and highly successful athletics program, sponsoring 15 NCAA Division II intercollegiate varsity sports that compete in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (NSIC), with a supportive fan base and game-day experience that is second to none.
