Bacharelado em Química

The chemistry major prepares students who desire to enter graduate or professional study in chemistry and provides the requisite education in chemistry for medical school, dental school, and other health-related fields. Students may also choose to minor in chemistry.

Expected Outcomes

Students will be able to apply the fundamental principles of chemistry.

Students will demonstrate chemical problem solving, critical thinking, and analytical reasoning.

Students will be able to design, carry out, record, and analyze experiments in the laboratory using various laboratory skills.

Students will be able to communicate effectively through oral and written reports.

Students will have the chemistry skills and knowledge required for career opportunities in the industry, graduate school, or professional school.

Martin Methodist College is a liberal arts, four-year College related to the Tennessee Conference of The United Methodist Church.

With a historic campus located in Pulaski, Tennessee, in the beautiful hills of southern Middle Tennessee, Martin Methodist College is convenient to both Nashville (70 miles to the north) and Huntsville, Alabama (40 miles to the south).

Martin Methodist offers a variety of certificate, diploma, and degree programs. Our programs provide training in academic, vocational, and technical fields and range from basic literacy to university degrees. Each degree, diploma, or certificate has set criteria that must be completed to an acceptable standard.

You will learn from caring faculty members who have received their training at universities like Vanderbilt, Harvard, Yale, Arkansas, Indiana, Manchester, Mississippi State, Texas, and Rochester. We keep our classes small so you and your professors can come to know one another. We offer more than 30 academic programs of study leading to the Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Business Administration, and Bachelor of Science in nursing degrees. Our academic programs are offered through business, education, humanities, mathematics and sciences, nursing, and social sciences.

Martin Methodist College is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges to award associate degrees, baccalaureate degrees, and a Masters's degree in Business Administration.
