An arts education transforms students into critical observers of the world. When students begin to craft images, it helps them discover parts of themselves that have previously gone unexpressed. Our art education major prepares you to work with these students as they explore the world of art.

Classes will help you develop instructional techniques in a variety of artistic media, from painting to computer art. You’ll also receive a strong grounding in education theory, instructional methodologies, and content area coursework.
