Mestrado Acadêmico em Design de Inovação em Tecidos

The Academic Master in Fabrics Innovation Design is addressed to graduates willing to enrich their curriculum with a study path focused on culture, creativity research innovation, and fabrics development, one of the most challenging and fast-growing fields of the entire fashion industry. The creative exploration in textile requires a complex mix of knowledge and abilities accompanied by a deep cultural background, both in that specific field, in fashion, and in art in general. The Master's course centers the entire study path on the theme of textile innovation and research.

Duration

The course duration is one academic year and attendance is mandatory. However, to be accepted at the final assessments students must have at least 80% proven attendance.

Founded in 1964 in Rome and with a second campus opened in Milan in 2020, Accademia Costume & Moda is today among the Best Fashion Schools in world according to the 2019 BoF report with “4 Badges of Excellence” – the maximum possible – for both the Undergraduate Fashion Design (BA Degree courses) and Graduate Fashion Design (MA Degree courses) categories.

It offers BA and Master courses legally recognised by the Italian Ministry of Education, Universities, and Research under the body that rules Artistic Higher Education.

Accademia has a placement ratio of well above 87% on total population in the most prestigious international fashion houses and entertainment productions thanks to the nourished industry network that counts today more than 100 brands and companies.
