The University of West Alabama’s online Master of Science in Physical Education will give you a platform to develop your knowledge base and skills of exercise science and physical fitness outside of teaching. The curriculum has been carefully created and curated by award-winning academic training professional and president of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association Research & Education Foundation R.T. Floyd.

Outside of the required general professional courses, the program is split into four concentration options that students may select. The athletic training concentration will equip you with the tools to help plan conditioning training programs and prevent injuries. The exercise science track will enable you to grapple with concepts in kinesiology and biomechanics. In the physical education concentration of the degree, you’ll engage with curriculum planning and the nuances of teaching the discipline. Finally, the sport management track will give you an insight into the business side of athletics as you explore topics like sports marketing and economics in sports.
