Stopień doktora chirurgii dentystycznej

The Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree is a two-year (6-semester) advanced standing program for dentists who graduated from non-U.S. accredited dental schools. It enables dentists who were trained in non-U.S. accredited institutions to gain the skills and knowledge necessary to practice in the United States.

The Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) program will train those dentists from non-U.S. accredited dental schools to be able to:

• Develop principles of ethical reasoning and professional responsibility as they pertain to the academic environment, patient care, practice management, and research on dentistry.
• Demonstrate self-assessment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills related to the comprehensive dental care of patients.
• Promote oral and systemic health of patients within private practice and the community.
• Diagnose, treat and/or manage all discipline areas recognized by the general dentist.
