Program MBA „Zarządzanie Europejskie”

Our postgraduate MBA study program “European Management” has been providing excellence in executive education since 1990 and has been state-approved from the beginning. It is held in English language and includes 15 classes (usually taking place from Wednesday to Saturday) as well as the Master Thesis. Our MBA program can be completed full-time or part-time:

• The full-time option lasts one year and starts in October. During the first nine months of studies, our MBA students complete the required 15-course weeks and including one International Week abroad. The program is completed with a Master's Thesis (duration 3 months).
• The modular concept of the course facilitates flexible study structures and enables students who prefer the part-time option to extend their studies over a period of up to four years while remaining in their job. The program is completed with a Master's Thesis (duration 6 months).

Our students are from all over the world and are on their way to becoming leaders in global teams. They learn about strategy, including the economic, legal, and political aspects as well as about the cross-cultural aspects through discussions, group work, and/or case studies.

The Master of Business Administration (MBA) program has been offered for over 30 years by the European Institute for Advanced Behavioural Management at Saarland University. The program is tailor-made for international students, academics, and practitioners who want to climb the next step on their career ladder. It can be studied either part-time or full-time, i.e. one or up to four years. The courses are taught in English by highly qualified university professors and internationally renowned guest lecturers and expert practitioners. The program comprises 15 classes covering all elements of business administration. Up to 3 classes of the MBA program take place abroad in European countries, held by distinguished professors from renowned universities from Germany and other European countries. In 2022, it took place in Valencia.

The program sets a specific focus on Behavioural Management, a very modern perspective on management that focuses on questions such as: Why do people behave the way they do? How can that behavior be influenced? Many of the courses include practically relevant case studies that reveal and reflect authentic business challenges. Students, therefore, have the chance to become acquainted with real-world business scenarios and recognize associated risks and opportunities.
