Fast-track your career and earning potential with Rider’s Master of Accountancy (MAcc) degree program. Study in one of only two schools in New Jersey with dual AACSB accreditation in accounting and business. Rider's curriculum has a practical focus on technology, and its impact on accounting, to equip graduates with the business analytics and communication skills necessary to succeed. Five specializations are available, including business analytics, finance and forensic accounting.

The Master of Accountancy develops the technical and interpersonal skills necessary for success in the accounting profession and fulfills the 150 credit-hour requirements for CPA licensure. Students can choose a concentration in business analytics, finance, information systems, sport management, or forensic accounting. This approach allows students to customize their degrees.

Many full-time students enter the MAcc directly after completing their undergraduate degree and take sections of the CPA exam during the MAcc program. Most part-time students in the program are employed in professional or managerial positions and bring business experience to share. There are internship opportunities for MAcc students.

Dual degree option

Combine your Master of Accountancy (MAcc) with a Master of Science in Information Systems (MSIS) to build your credentials, skills and knowledge base. Our dual-degree offerings allow students to earn both degrees with fewer total credits than earning the degrees separately.

Professional Accreditation
