Executive MBA

Virginia Tech’s 18-month Executive MBA is designed to prepare experienced managers for the business challenges of today and tomorrow.

With strategic leadership and experiential learning as cornerstones of the curriculum, the Executive MBA program emphasizes the key areas of business intelligence and analytics, innovation and entrepreneurship, leadership and governance, and global business. The latter two areas are also the foundation of two residencies — opening and international — that provide you with a unique and valuable worldview that will help guide your future as a leader.

Courses are taught by Executive MBA faculty who are experienced practitioners and at the forefront of research on emerging issues and technologies in their field. You will gain not only current insight into private and public industry, government, and entrepreneurial solutions, but also real-world experience as you apply these insights through thoughtfully designed experiential modules.

The college offers undergraduate and graduate programs in accounting and information systems, business information technology, finance, hospitality and tourism management, management, marketing, and real estate. The college’s degree programs, except for the master of information technology, are accredited by AACSB International — The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business International. Pamplin and the College of Engineering jointly deliver the master of information technology program, which is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.
