Master of Science in Nursing to Doctor of Nursing Practice

Ohio University's Master of Science in Nursing to Doctor of Nursing Practice program, which began in 2017, offers a concentration in advanced clinical or executive practice to further expand the knowledge and skills of the advanced nurse clinician or administrator.

This 36-credit program will allow you to customize your education with specializations in either direct patient care as an advanced practice nurse or indirect patient care as a nurse executive or nurse educator. Courses include not only explorations of health policy, quality and safety in population health, and epidemiology for advanced nursing practice, but also opportunities to help students build the professional presence, business acumen, and leadership skills necessary to advance.
