Professional accreditation and recognition
Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW)
If you want to become a chartered accountant, it is important to study for a degree that is professionally accredited. This shows that your degree meets the standards set by the industry, and often means that you do not need to take certain additional exams after you graduate (this is called an ‘exemption’).
This degree offers a number of exemptions from the examinations of professional bodies, putting you on the fast track to further qualifications in your chosen career. Exemptions available to current students include:
- Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA)
- Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA)
- Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW)
We are also an IMC Advantage Partner with the Chartered Financial Analysts Society UK, which means our Accounting and Finance degree is highly relevant for those who wish to become registered investment advisers. We’re also an approved Pathways to Associate Member of Certified Practising Accountants Australia.
CFA® and the CFA® Institute University Recognition Program
Get ahead with your studies towards the CFA® examinations. We are part of CFA Institute's University Affiliation Program, which means that our courses incorporate at least 70% of the CFA Program Candidate Body of Knowledge™ (CBOK), promoting ethics-based investment education for developing investment professionals.
As a student on this course, you would be entitled to apply for one of the CFA Institute's scholarships. The Student Scholarship waives the one-time CFA Program enrolment fee and reduces the exam registration fee, which includes access to the eBook curriculum.
