The Master's Degree in Language and Speech Pathologies, which has 150 editions , is based on a multidisciplinary focus and approach to the main language pathologies, which can present various neurological, psychoaffective or cognitive etiologies. The factors that intervene in the acquisition of language and the interference that a stoppage or a delay in this process can cause in a correct linguistic development are also studied.
The training of the future specialist must start from a multidisciplinary base in which contents that refer to both basic and complementary aspects are included, in order to achieve a global vision of the disorder that is being faced.
The Master also studies aspects related to the anatomy, physiology and dynamics of the central and peripheral nervous systems, as well as their relationship with pathological manifestations at the behavioral level, with special emphasis on language. These contents provide the basis for understanding the language disorders that we observe in pathologies such as cerebral palsy, aphasia, dysphasia and some types of intellectual disability, from an eminently practical perspective, with a teaching methodology based on scientific evidence. through the study of cases and the application of various innovative teaching strategies from a comprehensive approach.
ISEP's e-Learning methodology is based on case studies and training based on problem solving and collaborative work, through the ISEP Virtual Campus .
