You could also take up a funded international exchange placement to study part of your degree at a partner university.
International Student Start Dates
For new international students, orientation events start on 14 September 2018 . This extra time is specifically designed to assist new international students in settling into the UK and GCU prior to the start of general student induction and teaching.
There will be a whole host of fun and informative activities taking place during this period, including campus and city tours, as well as welcome events where you can meet other international students.
Language Option
Students can choose to study language modules as part of this degree. GCU offers modules in French, Spanish, German and Italian and each is offered at different levels depending on your background knowledge.

The Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) is the leading professional body for marketers worldwide and exists to develop the marketing profession, maintain professional standards and improve the skills of marketing practitioners.
GCU has joined forces with CIM to give students the opportunity to gain professional qualifications through CIM Graduate Gateway. CIM qualifications are highly sought after by employers, and map alongside our own degrees which ensures we are equipping students with the best opportunities for a successful marketing career.
Assessment Methods
The programme is accredited by the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) which is the professional body for marketing within the United Kingdom. This means that the CIM values our programme and our graduates also gain partial exemption from the CIM diploma exams. The CIM's diploma leads to membership of the CIM and the further opportunity to gain the coveted title of Chartered Marketer.

For example, our Level Three students undertake the E-Marketing module, where after learning the theory and practice of internet marketing, they are required to act as 'internet marketing consultants'. Throughout the course, you'll get involved in live projects with industry partners setting design briefs and providing one-to-one student feedback.
International exchange is encouraged through formal and informal links with appropriate institutions, for example America - Iowa & Delaware, Canada Ryerson, Finland Lahti & Metropolia, and Paris. There are also opportunities to learn a foreign language as an option either at beginner, intermediate or advanced level.
