Christopher Newport is located in the environmentally rich coastal plain of Virginia.

Designed for students interested in careers involving environmental assessment, monitoring and conservation, this degree also prepares students for PhD programs.

Research is underway at local and international sites, such as Hoffler Creek Nature Preserve, Great Dismal Swamp National Wildlife Refuge, Death Valley National Park.
