Pharmacists' scope of practice has increased and the number of pharmacists in healthcare services is also increasing as pharmacists become more actively involved in drug therapy management for patients of all ages.

Our 4-year CHSU Doctor of Pharmacy program prepares students to be competent, compassionate pharmacists who are competitive in the pharmacy field through successful completion of didactic courses, labs, and clinical experiences. We are committed to helping our students understand, apply for, and secure financing for your educational journey and beyond.

California Health Sciences University (CHSU) is accredited by the WASC Senior College and University Commission. Founded in 2012 by the Assemi family, CHSU offers a local option for medical school and seeks to help remedy the shortage of health care providers in the Central Valley. CHSU is currently accepting applications for its Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) program.
