Our college recognizes the importance of Christian music in worship services and evangelistic outreach. A wide variety of courses are offered to prepare a Christian worker for music ministry. Students with music abilities who are enrolled in the Pastoral Ministries Program, the Christian Missions Program, or the Elementary Education Program are encouraged to add to their degrees a minor in Church Music Ministry.

The student, upon completion of the requirements of this program, will: Direct and oversee Spirit-led interpretative and theologically sound music for the various ministries in church music, evangelism; Articulate a biblically-based music philosophy; Communicate concisely and effectively about music in oral and written formats; Employ concepts of pedagogical techniques for music students of various levels; Demonstrate a working knowledge of harmonic principles, compositional techniques, and musicianship skills.
