Do you enjoy picking up an instrument and playing it all day long? Were you practicing Mozart’s 41st symphony at a young age? Or have you been singing for as long as you can remember and want to share this with the world? If all this sounds like “music” to your ears, then you may wish to make it your degree.

At UTSA, a music degree provides a firm foundation to nurture your creative calling. You’ll be able to choose either a B.A. in Music or a B.M. with a concentration in any of the following: Music Education, Music Composition, Music Performance or Music Marketing. Concentrations are declared after you’ve been admitted and have met with your academic advisor.

A degree in Music from UTSA provides a rich and fulfilling contribution to the greater community and is a nationally recognized program accredited by the National Association of Schools of Music. You’ll follow down the footsteps of many of today’s greatest musicians as you pursue a career as a performing artist, sound engineer, composer, music educator, or as a music marketing professional.
