UM-Flint’s Doctor of Education program is specifically designed for K-12 educators looking to build upon their background and skills and those interested in administration roles in higher education. The program also prepares administrators at the building level who are interested in a central office position in a variety of areas featuring, but not limited to, Human Relations, Finance, Curriculum, or as Superintendents. Furthermore, graduates in the program can pursue a higher education career as a professor or administrator.

The School of Education and Human Services (SEHS) at the University of Michigan-Flint is for students pursuing careers as educational leaders, teachers, social workers, and other related fields. Each SEHS student has the opportunity to engage with the community in meaningful ways, from student teaching to service learning projects and more.
