The Certificate in Event Management provides students with an opportunity to learn the profession of event planning. It combines experiential learning with academic course work to prepare you for all the unexpected when coordinating events.
Nearly every kind of organization has a need to create and manage events, from corporations to political organizations, nonprofits to sports teams. In fact, there are dozens of employees just on the University of Iowa campus whose roles include a significant amount of event planning.
The University of Iowa is one of America's premier public research universities.
