If you're excited and inspired to teach young children, our Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education program (PreK-Grade 3) at Stevenson will prepare you to have a positive impact on the learning and lives of young children.

Stevenson’s Early Childhood Education program is designed to ensure that you demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and dispositions necessary to be a successful teacher of young children. Beginning in the first year, the program emphasizes experiential learning in diverse school environments, including preschools and public and private schools. As you advance through the program, you will complete numerous field experiences in a variety of school settings culminating in a yearlong internship in a Professional Development School.
