We aim to be an engineer who has both creativity and practical ability through practical lessons and research by faculty members with abundant field experience such as next-generation mobility and biomedical engineering devices.

The Department of Mechanical Systems Engineering recommends the CAD utilization engineer qualification, which is a computer-based machine design and drafting technology, and the mechanical design engineer qualification test, which is a technology for designing higher-performance and more convenient machines. We provide guidance to clarify and motivate students to study.

There are many cases in which I realized my aptitude for the first time by studying specialized subjects and was able to grow significantly. We also offer classes that incorporate group learning in order to acquire communication skills.

首都体育学院is the only higher physical education college in Beijing. In 1960, it was transformed into Beijing Normal University of Physical Education. In 1962, it was merged into Beijing Normal University. In 1979, the Beijing Normal University of Physical Education was restored. In 2000, it was renamed the首都体育学院. In 2020, according to the classified development plan of Beijing's public universities, our school was identified as a "high-level characteristic university".

The school has 8 teaching units, including the School of Physical Education and Training, the School of Sports Science and Health, the School of Martial Arts and Performance, the School of Management and Communication, the School of Leisure and Social Sports, the School of Continuing Education, the School of International Education, and the School of Marxism, as well as sports labor.
