Laurea in Matematica

The study and research focus in our department is on the theory and application of five key subjects: algebra, analysis, geometry, mathematical analysis of information, and computer science. As well as acquiring computational skills, students develop a mathematical sensibility and the ability to think logically. This enables them to describe phenomena and solve problems from a mathematical perspective. They also work to gain skills demanded in the real world, by acquiring qualifications in areas such as programming and teaching.

Meijo University has over 90 years of history that can be traced back to the establishment of the Nagoya Science and Technology Course in 1926. As one of the largest universities in the Chubu region, Meijo University is a comprehensive learning institution that supports a wide range of academic fields from the humanities to physical sciences.
