Psychology is the scientific study of the human mind and its functions, especially those affecting behavior in a given context. Dallas College offers courses in general psychology and lifespan growth and development, while specified colleges offer courses in the psychology of personality, social psychology, personal adjustment, human sexuality, and more.

Dallas College originally operated as a district of seven independently accredited colleges. In 2020, those colleges united under a single name in order to offer our students a more streamlined, more convenient experience. The seven original campuses live on as our primary locations.
