Laurea in Design Grafico

As our methods of communication become increasingly mobile, we rely more and more on the art of design to communicate in creative and engaging ways. At the Cleveland Institute of Art, our Graphic Design curriculum takes into account these dramatic changes that are transforming the graphic design industry and the importance of clear visual communication.

As a Graphic Design major, you will explore both innovative and traditional methods of graphic design including typography, print and web design, package design, and signage. You will be introduced to forms, methods, conventional and experimental types of media, and concepts crucial to creative development, self-expression, and effective visual communication and production.

The Cleveland Institute of Art is one of the nation's leading accredited independent colleges of art and design. Since 1882, the college has been an educational cornerstone in Cleveland, Ohio, producing graduates competitive as studio artists, designers, photographers, contemporary craftsmen, and educators.

On April 17, 2020, the Cleveland Institute of Art signed and returned the Certification and Agreement for the CARES Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund (HEERF). CIA received $801,788, of which $400,894 was designated for emergency grants to our students. CIA has used no less than 50 percent of the funds received to provide Emergency Financial Aid Grants to students.
