Working on your research skills

In this pre-master's programme, you will not only work on a good theoretical foundation, but above all on your research skills. The programme consists of two semesters. In the first, you will attend subject-specific lectures, learn how to conduct research and work on a real-life project. In the second semester, you will work on data analysis and conduct research for your thesis.

After your professional (hbo) bachelor's degree in the fields of Leisure & Events, Tourism or Hotel, you can transfer directly to the academic master's programme Master of Science Leisure and Tourism Studies via this one-year pre-mastersHBO.

Breda University of Applied Sciences is a medium-sized, government-funded higher education institute. Student services & facilities

Breda University of Applied Sciences offers several services and facilities for students.

There are many opportunities to meet and inspire each other on campus, in project spaces, labs, and studios, or just outside on a bench. In the former convent, you will find the library and a study and resource center including silent areas. The Hotel domain's in-school training company can also be found here, as well as the food courts and the Service Desk. Everywhere on campus, you can find a bite to eat, a place to work in silence, or to relax.

Each study program has its own project spaces, labs, workshops, and studios where students and lecturers can work. Additionally, there is an on-campus Innovation Square which offers space to enterprising graduating students and start-ups. All the necessary facilities are present so nothing gets in the way of creativity!

Playing some football, table tennis, and a game of chess. There are several sports and recreational facilities on campus for students and staff. Inside and outside. It is possible to produce radio shows and you can also make music in the Music Room!
