Learning Community

This game programme prepares you for a future in the international game industry. You will acquire a broad knowledge of game technology and will mainly work on skills. You will learn all about game development, gameplay, anvel design, 3D visual arts, animation, audio, production, and programming. In our simulation studio, you will work on games, of course. You will do this individually, but also together with other students.

You choose a study track as early as before the start of your studies so that right from year 1 you take the role that best suits your own interests and development wishes. In the second year, you can choose to become a 'general developer' or continue in the direction you chose in the first year. Examples of roles are character artist, graphics programmer, and level designer.

Breda University of Applied Sciences is a medium-sized, government-funded higher education institute. More than 7,000 Dutch and international students from some 100 countries are studying at our institute. We offer bachelor’s and master’s programs at professional and academic levels in the domains of Games, Media, Hotel, Facility, Logistics, Built Environment, Tourism, and Leisure & Events.

Student services & facilities

Breda University of Applied Sciences offers several services and facilities for students.

There are many opportunities to meet and inspire each other on campus, in project spaces, labs, and studios, or just outside on a bench. In the former convent, you will find the library and a study and resource center including silent areas. The Hotel domain's in-school training company can also be found here, as well as the food courts and the Service Desk. Everywhere on campus, you can find a bite to eat, a place to work in silence, or to relax.

Each study program has its own project spaces, labs, workshops, and studios where students and lecturers can work. Additionally, there is an on-campus Innovation Square which offers space to enterprising graduating students and start-ups. All the necessary facilities are present so nothing gets in the way of creativity!

Playing some football, table tennis, and a game of chess. There are several sports and recreational facilities on campus for students and staff. Inside and outside. It is possible to produce radio shows and you can also make music in the Music Room!
