The MBA is offered for full-time students as well as part-time students with its schedule of evening classes. You have the flexibility to choose a class schedule that suits your lifestyle and responsibilities.
MBA classes are held in Federal Hall on Indiana State University’s campus in Terre Haute, Indiana. Each class typically meets one night per week (Monday through Thursday) from 6:00 to 8:45 pm.
All classes are delivered in-person. The Scott College of Business does not offer an online MBA program.

Fewer than five percent of institutions have programs accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) International – the highest standard of achievement for business schools. In the United States, less than 25 percent of business programs can claim AACSB International accreditation, and Indiana State is one of them. This distinction not only indicates the kind of quality you can expect in the program, it also differentiates you from others on the job market. The Scott College MBA has also been recognized as a "Nation’s Best" program by the Princeton Review for nine years in a row.
When you enroll in the MBA program at Indiana State University, you will receive quality, graduate-level preparation for a career as a business professional. The MBA program is open to anyone holding (or anticipating) a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution. A statistics course is a prerequisite for the MBA curriculum.

International applicants must meet the University requirements for English proficiency and provide proof of financial support.
WHEN TO APPLY
The MBA Program does not have application deadlines; applications are accepted year-round and you may begin any semester. Typically, processing takes less than 30 days. Early application is encouraged!
WHAT WE CONSIDER
Once an application is complete, an admission decision will be made. Admissions decisions are based upon the applicant’s undergraduate (and graduate, if any) performance and GMAT score. In some cases, a personal interview and/or letters of reference may be requested to support your application.

MBA PROGRAM GRADUATE ASSISTANTSHIPS
Graduate assistantships are available on a competitive basis. Students who are awarded graduate assistantships may have their assistantship renewed each semester.
What is a graduate assistantship?
Scott College of Business graduate assistants undertakes a variety of duties in the College and University. These duties may include department faculty teaching support, working in Scott College of Business administrative offices, working with the College’s Small Business Development Center, support of faculty research, or other duties as assigned.
Most assistantships are normally awarded in May for the following fall. A small number of assistantships may be awarded in December for the spring term, although these are subject to availability. Summer assistantships are unusual. Generally, an assistantship represents a commitment of 10 or 20 hours per week.
Funding for assistantships is provided on a per-semester basis. The stipend for a graduate assistantship can be as much as $8,000 per year. It also includes a waiver of some or all tuition. Some university and MBA program fees cannot be waived.
How do I apply for a graduate assistantship?

Once a regular admission is received, the admitted student should notify the Graduate Programs Office in the Scott College of Business of their wish to be considered for a graduate assistantship. Timely submission of your complete application will allow us to fully consider your credentials. The Graduate Programs Office will not evaluate a request for a graduate assistantship until the student has been accepted into the MBA program.
