Tourism Management and Service Education Major: This major is a specialty with special advantages that our college will focus on. The professional construction has the longest history. As early as 2006, the professional tourism management specialty was opened, and nearly 300 graduates have been trained. The undergraduate major of tourism management and service education was enrolled nationwide in September 2018, and there are currently 10 full-time teachers. After years of continuous professional construction and exploration, the training objectives of tourism management and service education professionals are clear, the curriculum system is becoming more and more perfect, and the teaching content is gradually enriched. Teachers have reformed and innovated teaching methods and teaching methods, paying special attention to the training of students' practical skills We have continuously improved and perfected tourism management personnel training model, curriculum system, teaching methods and assessment methods, accumulated rich experience in running schools, and developed a number of characteristic and high-quality courses. Established a long-term cooperative education mechanism with many enterprises. In terms of teacher scientific research, we have conducted theoretical and applied scientific research closely focusing on mountain tourism development, regional cultural resource protection and utilization, and rural tourism development, and have achieved some scientific research results. On this basis, relying on the research platform with unique local characteristics-the International Mountain Tourism Research Institute, actively carry out mountain tourism planning, policy consultation, industry training, etc., and provide intellectual support for the international mountain tourism demonstration construction of Qianxinan Prefecture. Relevant government departments, domestic and foreign tourism schools, tourism companies, etc. establish exchanges and cooperation.

Xingyi Normal University for Nationalities is located at Xingyi city, Qianxinan Miao, and Puyi Autonomous Prefecture in Guizhou Province. Since its founding in 1813 in the name of “Bishan Academy,” the university has witnessed nearly 200 years.
