The School of Media has 51 teachers and more than 1,500 students.

The School of Media has two levels of undergraduate and higher vocational education. Open 3 undergraduate majors in radio and television editing (art), journalism, network, and new media, and 2 high-level programs in digital media application technology (UI interface design direction) and visual communication design and production (art category, interior decoration design direction) Vocational majors, including visual communication design and production as a provincial key major.

Situated in the university town in the south of Xi'an, one of the ancient capitals in China, Xijing University is a non-governmental institution of higher learning that is qualified to conduct post-graduate education.
